Ok! I don't know if you've ever gone into your bathroom or kitchen and found the hand towel that you hung over the oven door handle or hung in the bathroom is now on the floor so I decided to add some velcro strips to the towel and see if that would help and it's great! I glued this first towel due to part laziness and partly to see if it would be worth the effort and it is. I will sew the next strips though onto the other towels.
Here are the following steps I did to add velcro to the towel and like I said, it's been worth it!
Step 1: I laid the towel out on a smooth surface
Step 2: I added the first two velcro straps to the top where I wanted them (although I did get some glue on the towel, I'll try and avoid that in the future).
Step 3: I placed the rest of the strips making sure that there was enough space between the two rows of strips to go around the pole.
Step 4: I put a weight on the strips over night to help secure the glue as best I could.
Step 5: The next morning I removed the weight and tested out my improved bathroom towel.
Perfect. I will sew it next time though as I think in the long run it'll hold better than the glue. This is what happened after my husband checked out the towel though.
